The City of Kirkland is a smaller lakefront, quaint town near two bigger cities, Bellevue WA and across Lake Washington from Seattle. They have a lot to offer companies and employees as a place to put down roots. Their goal was to draw businesses and individuals as well as families to relocate to the area.
Kirkland is seen as an out-of-the-way location, quaint, charming, and a reputation highlighted by CNN Money program as a haven for the rich and single. Our challenge was to change peoples perceptions and grow the community.
Through the City’s research and our interviews with a number of Kirkland officials, provided us with the appeal we needed to promote the Kirkland. We could change people’s perceptions by showcasing the inviting, vibrant and a relaxed atmosphere through a video of images of the city and people living their lives and working. The video is now being used by the Chamber of Commerce, local hotels and is on the City of Kirkland website.
